Every Second Tuesday (E2T)
'Every Second Tuesday' (E2T) is a popular semi-professional seven-piece Waikato-based covers band. E2T's line-up includes four Waikato Regional Council staff, a colleague from the Waipa District Council and our drummer who works in IT at Wise Management Group, Hamilton.

E2T has twice won the annual Waikato Councils' Battle of the Bands competition (2009 and 2011); and was named Runner Up in the New Zealand Corporate Battle of the Bands (October 2009).

Every Second Tuesday plays a mix of mostly energetic and well-known dance floor/rock/pop music from the last 30 years (1980s, 1990s and current chart material), with the odd iconic 60s and 70s song thrown in. E2T performs at a range of public and private social and charity events - yours could be next!

E2T at the opening of the Te Rapa Section of the Waikato Expressway - Sat 1 Dec
E2T played at this event on Saturday 1 December 2012 as the NZ Transport Agency celebrated the opening of the Te Rapa Section of the Waikato Expressway.
A beautiful warm day brought plenty of cyclists, walkers and runners out to enjoy the new stretch of highway prior to its opening to traffic the following Monday.
E2T played to an appreciative while somewhat mobile audience... and folk cruised past in both directions, with those not on a time trial stopping to enjoy the band for a while.
(Left to right: Karl, Eric, Bill, Cara, Ally, Kaye [Ex-bassist filling in for Bill Uruamo that day] and Junine).
For more information on the Waikato Expressway see www.facebook.com/waikatoexpressway.
