Had an amazing experience with Na Clachan recently on their half day wine tour. Chris and Toni were fantastic guides, really knowledgeable and friendly, and were able to customize the wineries we visited based on our tastes. They definitely know the region and can customize the tour. We had a great time and learned so much about the region and wine in general. We came in winter and had amazing sunny weather with the bonus of no crowds in any of the cellar doors. I definitely recommend them if you're looking for a tour in the area.

My wife and I booked Na Clachan on a whim and turned out to be one of the best decisions. Thank you Chris, and Na Clachan, we really enjoyed the detailed knowledge that Chris so graciously shared about the development of the Marlborough region as the wine producing capital of New Zealand. It certainly helps that Chris is so knowledgeable and passionate about wine. We would strongly recommend Chris if you ever visit the Marlborough valley for a wine tour. And thank you for the weather as well !

Had an absolutely incredible day wine tasting in Marlborough with Bill. We tasted 30+ wines across 5 wineries, learned a lot, and had a truly wonderful time. Bill is an incredible person and he made our visit really special.

My partner and I had a wonderful time being guided by Bill and Toni for the winery tour around Marlborough region. They were extremely knowledgeable and we felt we were in good hands for uncovering the best wineries in the region. Bob and Toni were so welcoming and warm and truly went out of their way to make sure we had memorable experiences. If you’re looking for a wine tour make sure you book with them! Our group of four enjoyed a fantastic day long wine tour with Na Clachan Wine Tours. Our guide Bill was so knowledgeable and a wonderful host, the wineries were excellent and we greatly enjoyed the company of those we met also on the tour. The wine tasting at Forrest Estate was a stand-out, as was the delicious lunch at St Clair. We would highly recommend Na Clachan Wine Tours!

A great day out visiting 5 wineries with Chris. Compared to the cruise wine tours on offer this was by far much better value & we learned so much from each stop. Chris is very knowledgeable & a great host. I throughly recommend Na Clachan for a Marlborough wine tour!

We had a wonderful day with Bill who met us at Blenheim airport. We visited three different wineries including Clos Henri, Gibson, and the last stop at St. Clair for a tasting and lunch. Chris organized the visits based upon our requested wine interests and it was perfect. Bill was outstanding who gave us a thorough introduction to the Marlborough wine history, soils and climates, local knowledge of the wineries we visited, along with a great sense of humor. Highly recommended!

We had a brilliant day on the full day wine tour. Our pick up was prompt and friendly followed by a day of lovely wine tastings at a widely varied selection of cellar doors with Chris as the knowledgeable driver and wine expert to top it all off. Thankyou!

We had an unforgettable afternoon with Bill as our guide. Enjoyed a wonderful meal at our first winery - Allan Scott - getting to know the other guests and, of course, tasting some of Marlborough's best. The tour took us off the beaten path to three other wineries and provided a good balance of education, wine tasting, and great company. A "10".

We had a great afternoon with our guide/driver Chris. We had a delicious lunch and wine tasting at Alan Scott’s winery & then on to 3 other wineries for tastings which were all excellent. . Chris was very informative and we enjoyed the afternoon thoroughly. Highly recommend this tour.

Great day touring wine country with Chris, in his beautiful Mercedes. Very knowledgeable guide with good relationships with the staff in wineries we visited. Reasonably priced, especially compared to cruise ship excursions. Highly recommend.

Lovely half-day tour with a friendly and knowledgeable driver/guide in a comfortable van. Nice selection of wineries, and delicious no-host lunch. Much to like, no complaints.

We took a tour in December 2022. Chris helped us set it up by going through our preferences and making suggestions for an itinerary. Bill, our driver, was waiting for us with a sign with our name. The car was spacious and comfortable. Bill was intelligent and funny and helped us learn more about what we were tasting. The suggested wineries were exactly what we were looking for (with a bonus fourth tasting at lunch). An absolutely perfect day in New Zealand wine country!

An excellent day featuring local wineries as well as those known overseas. Bill our host for the day was excellent and the choice of lunch venue at St Clairs was inspired. We are delighted to recommend Na Chlachan for folks looking for something a little different for that Marlborough wine Tour 10 out of 10!

Chris was very responsive and helpful from the very start. He planned a nice day in advance. Bill was our driver and such a pleasant personality as the perfect balance of between giving us space and explaining the area. He even helped us change around our day halfway through after he got to know us. One of the best days ever! Thank you guys!

My partner and I had such a wonderful day out with Chris exploring the Marlborough. He took care to understand exactly what wines we did and didn't like and tailored our tour accordingly, taking us to a bunch of great wineries we otherwise wouldn't have known a thing about rather than hitting the more cliche spots. If we came back we wouldn't consider going with anybody else!

Chris was so responsive to my enquiry and keen to know about what Grant and I enjoy so that he could cater to our tastes, along with others on the tour. Bill was our guide for the day and he was very good too, plus Lyndie with her super organisation picking us up in Picton. Chris has good knowledge about the Marlborough Region and the wineries which sets his tours apart from the others. He was a great host for the day and we will be booking Chris again when we return.

Chris has an excellent knowledge of the industry in Marlborough and knows exactly where to go for interesting and challenging wines that will revolutionise everything you know about the Marlborough wine industry. I'll never look at a bottle of wine the same way again!

Fabulous full day tour with 3 other couples. Bill, our driver and guide was very friendly and knowledgeable . The 5 vineyards we visited were all different from each other and they all knew there products well. Lunch at St Claire was stunning. Bill went the extra mile so we could stop off to pick up pizza on the way back to our accommodation. We would highly recommend Na Clachan Wine Tours.

My partner and I had an excellent afternoon wine tour with Chris, who took us to 4 brilliant vineyards to taste a wide variety of wines! Chris was very knowledgeable about both wine and the Blenheim area, and is clearly very well-respected by the vineyard staff. He was very approachable, being more than happy to answer all of our questions about the local wines, as well as the wine-making process in general, and also gave us some recommendations for dinner. Overall we would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

We had an amazing full day tour yesterday with Chris.. the weather wasn’t that great so we ended up being the only couple there but that didn’t stop us from having fun! Chris was welcoming and knowledgeable, nothing was too much to ask. He even booked us a table for dinner and dropped us off at the restaurant. Chris does such an incredible wine tour, I can't imagine anyone not having a good time. He made an entirely customised experience for us by asking what we liked, what we wanted to get out of the tour and also asking if we're open to learning more. Chris KNOWS the region, he knows the wines, the vintages, the vineyards and the staff at the wineries, so everyone is so patient and great that you come into contact with. Having done a few wine tours, this one wise by far the most personalised, the most informative, and the most VIP experience we've had. Chris is so entertaining and thoughtful, I recommend this experience for anyone.

Our group tour with Chris ended up being a private tour due to winter and the low numbers of tourists in the region. Chris was amazing throughout talking us through all the different vineyards he took us to and sharing his fantastic wealth of knowledge about the area. I'd recommend this tour to anyone in the area, much more bespoke than big operations and one of the best in the region. Thanks again Chris!

Had an awesome afternoon with Chris. He took us for an afternoon of wine tasting to 4 fantastic vineyards. He knew a lot about wine and was most informative. The vineyards he choose for us suited our tastes of wine. Highly recommend Chris wouldn’t hesitate to do another one with him next time we are in Blenheim.

Would recommend Chris who was our friendly, interesting,knowledgeable and informative guide today. He stood in for our original guide who was sick and did a great job. We visited 4 cellar doors and tried some fabulous wines whilst enjoying the atmosphere of each place and great conversation.
