Cameo Fine Arts has been providing a custom picture framing service in North Canterbury for over 30 years and in 2008 was purchased by Kirsty Watson who has continued a fine tradition as well as enhancing the business with knowledge in other fields including a quality New Zealand Souvenir company supplying wholesale and retail corporations as well as the general public.

Cameo is still New Zealand’s leading manufacturer of handcrafted oval, oblong, cathedral and round frames. These frames can be produced from Oak, Rimu, Pine or manufactured fibre boards. Convex glass can still be acquired for some frames to replicate the heirlooms of past generations.

Quality workmanship in our custom picture framing and in the manufacture of our frames is an important factor in ensuring the highest standard of presentation. On staff is a full qualified GCF framer. Sue Askin is our qualified person who is happy to advise you on the right way of framing each individual piece from basic child’s art through to those valuable and sentimental items that require conservation or museum quality framing.
