2023 Oils Now Available

 

Our 2023 New Zealand olive oils and table olives are now available for purchase.

We submitted 5 oils for the 2022 Awards:

 

  • Picual won Gold medal and Best in Class

  • Tuscan Blend won a bronze  medal

  • Leccino won a bronze medal

  • Chemlali won a Gold medal

  • Frantoio won a silver medal

The future of this competition is in  doubt due the showgrounds future.
 

We submitted 4 oils for the 2019 Awards:

 

  • Frantoio won a Silver medal

  • Picual, Koroneiki and Tuscan Blend won Bronze medals

ONZ Certified Oil - certified Extra Virgin

 

All our olive oils are  laboratory tested  to ensure they meet the chemical composition required. 

Of the 20223 olive oils, four were classified as Extra Virgin olive oils. 

Chemlali and Koroneiki are classified as 'virgin olive oils'. More clarification as to why in our NEWS page of the yearly review.

 
No organoleptic tests were carried as the oils were laboratory tested in New Zealand, of which no one in NZ has the capability for organoleptic testing or Polyphenol testing.
