Little Avondale Stud
Little Avondale Stud was established in 1965 by Alister and Nancy Williams as a retirement farm for them when they moved from Te Parae. Tom and Richard (Buzz) Williams, their sons, ran the two properties up until 1996 which was when this successful partnership was dissolved. Buzz and Susie took over the running of Little Avondale and Tom and Gay remained at Te Parae. Sam and Catriona are the third generation to farm horses under the Williams name.
